Turn any workflow instance that Optimize has mined into a polished, shareable Scribe guide — no re-recording required.
Before you start
- Your Optimize and Capture workspaces must be connected under the same organization. If your Optimize account lives in a separate tenant from your Capture account, the "Create a Scribe" option won't appear until the two are linked.
- You need a Capture creator license to generate a new Scribe. A viewer license lets teammates view the finished Scribe, but not create one.
- Access to "Create a Scribe" is controlled by your Optimize role, not your Capture role.
Your new Scribe lives in your Capture workspace under the team you selected, just like any other Scribe — share it, edit it, or add it to a page from there.

Good to know
- "Create a Scribe" only appears on instances that were actually mined by Optimize — there's currently no way to generate a Scribe directly from an agent chat conversation, even if the agent references a specific instance. If the exact process you discussed wasn't captured as an instance, look for the closest matching instance and create the Scribe from that.
