Available only on Pro and Enterprise plans.

To specify to the viewer where they should be clicking on the screen, Scribe's software automatically places a click target on the specific location of each click that occurs during a Scribe capture. The ability to edit the click target is part of the screenshot editor.

Move or Remove the Click Target

By default, the click target will mark the location of a mouse click, however, its position can be moved around or, it can be completely removed from the screenshot if needed. You can also change its shape and color!

Add a Click Target to Manually Added Screenshots

Since screenshots can be uploaded manually to your Scribes - you can manually add the Click Target to the newly uploaded Screenshot to denote where your viewers should click.

Edit the color of the click target

Change the color of the click target to one of the pre-selected colors, or if you want something more specific, you can use a HEX color. Once you’ve set your desired color for a Scribe, it will default to that color when you capture your next Scribe.

You can also change the shape of click targets as you edit a step from a circle to a rectangle.
