Scribe has always made it effortless to capture and share how work gets done. Now, you can take the next step: making your workflows more efficient — with AI.
With workflow improvement, Scribe doesn’t just document how you work. It analyzes your workflows, spots inefficiencies, and gives you tailored suggestions to help your team work smarter.
Capture your workflow as usual — or open a Scribe you’ve already created — and click “Improve this workflow with AI” on the top toolbar. When you click into this, you’ll:
- Get an efficiency score for your workflow.
- Receive improvement suggestions — from quick fixes to configuration opportunities.
- Follow step-by-step guidance to apply improvements right away or save them for later.
For example, if you captured a Scribe for “How to add a contact to Salesforce,” we’ll suggest ways to improve the steps you take in Salesforce, such as automating certain fields or reducing unnecessary clicks.
How it works
FAQs
Does this automatically improve my Scribe?
No. This feature does not improve the actual Scribe (for example, it won't re-write step text). Instead, it analyzes the steps in your Scribes to surface opportunities to make the underlying workflow more efficient.
How does it work?
Improve workflows analyzes the steps captured in your Scribe, then compares them to common patterns and best practices. Based on this, it suggests ways to reduce manual work, speed up processes, or prevent errors.
What kinds of opportunities does it find?
Suggestions might include: automating repetitive steps already handled by your systems, standardizing processes so teams follow the same steps, highlighting redundant or duplicate actions, or identifying bottlenecks.
Can I choose which improvements to apply?
Yes. You decide which suggestions to act on immediately and which to save for later.
Do my teammates see the same suggestions?
Anyone with edit access to a particular Scribe will be able to see its suggestions.
Can I turn this off for my team?
Only available to Enterprise users. Admins can toggle this off in Settings -> Features "Enable improve workflows with AI."
