Can I import documentation to make Scribe docs?

Available for Pro and Enterprise plans

Yes! If your company has existing SOPs, process guides, or manuals, you can import them directly into Scribe. Your documents are automatically converted into Scribes or Pages — no need to rebuild everything from scratch.

You can import PDFs and Word (.docx) files. You can either let AI determine the document outcome type based on its structure or choose between Scribe and Page. Be reminded:

  • Scribe — if the document is image-heavy, has short/concise steps, or follows a clear step-by-step format
  • Page — if the document is mostly text, has long paragraphs, or contains tables without images

There is currently no way to choose the document type manually, and no way to convert between Scribe and Page after import.

Each plan has an all-time import quota, which applies at the team level, not the user level. For Pro plans, it is 20 imports. If you are interested in learning more about Enterprise quota, you can connect with our Sales Team here!
