If your browser crashes, closes unexpectedly, or your Scribe doesn’t appear to save, don’t worry — your work can usually be recovered.
How to restore your lost Scribe
When you reopen the Scribe side panel, you should see a message indicating that your last Scribe was not saved.
From there:
- Click Save to recover your Scribe
- Or click Discard if you don’t need it anymore
This recovery feature automatically detects unsaved progress and gives you the option to restore it.
How to continue recording your Scribe
After restoring your Scribe:
- Open the recovered Scribe
- Click Edit
- Select Continue Capture to keep recording steps as usual
