Pseudonymization in Autocapture

When an admin looks at your team's activity, Autocapture can show real names or pseudonyms, depending on your plan and settings.

Pro Team

Activity is not pseudonymized. If an admin requests a Scribe from a teammate's activity, it's tied to that person's real name — and as always, they have to approve before anything publishes.

Enterprise

Activity is pseudonymized by default. Admins see a pseudonym instead of a real name, so they can see how work gets done and document it without seeing whose work it was specifically.

Turning pseudonymization off

An admin can turn pseudonymization off at the organization level in settings if your organization needs identities visible. This control is separate for Autocapture (Capture) and Optimize so you can keep people pseudonymized in one while showing real names in the other.

Any changes to this setting will also be recorded in the Audit Logs.

Good to know

Pseudonymization applies to Team Activity — it's about how admins see aggregated activity, not something that changes what's captured.
