Using Autocapture with SCIM

ENT_Tag-Small.png

If your organization provisions users through SCIM, Workflow Mapping is managed through your SCIM group mappings rather than individually for each user.

Completing the standard Autocapture setup flow alone does not enable Workflow Mapping for SCIM-provisioned users. To finish setup, Workflow Mapping needs to be enabled both for the team and for the relevant SCIM group mapping.

Turn on Workflow Mapping

  1. In Team Mapping Settings, make sure Workflow Mapping is enabled for each team you want to include.
  2. Go to Settings → SCIM Provisioning → User Mappings.
  3. Find the SCIM group mapped to the team you want to include.
  4. Enable Workflow Mapping for that group.

Workflow Mapping begins for users in that SCIM group once it is enabled both for the team and for the corresponding SCIM group mapping.

Turn off Workflow Mapping

To turn Workflow Mapping off for SCIM-provisioned users:

  1. Disable Workflow Mapping on the relevant SCIM group mapping first.
  2. Then disable Workflow Mapping for the team.

Why is Workflow Mapping managed through SCIM groups?

With SCIM enabled, roles and Workflow Mapping are managed through your SCIM group mappings.

The only assignment that can be changed directly for an individual SCIM-provisioned user in the Users table is their destination team.

Managing Workflow Mapping through SCIM groups also means that users added to the group later automatically receive the same Workflow Mapping configuration.
